Identify VHF antenna

At the top of my mast is a VHF antenna. It came with the boat, and I have no history. The antenna itself came off on an unruly passage this fall. I'd like to replace just the antenna if possible.

I had the mast down this summer, for the Erie Canal, and removed the antenna for protection. While I am not 100% sure of my memory, I believe it was a push/twist 1/4 turn for removal and install. I also seem to recall it was rigid, but I'm really unsure of that part.

I have a single picture of the mount, attached. The mount is the white base with a tan top in the upper left corner. Not much to go on, I know!

Anyone know what brand this is? I'd love to buy a new "whip" (is it a whip if it is rigid?) instead of an entire new antenna. And I'd rather not go up just to get a brand name.

Thanks!

Harry

Re: Identify VHF antenna

no idea. you need a picture of the bracket and cable from the other side.

you could try a Shakespeare 5215. it might fit in the same bracket. hopefully the current one has a cable attachment, some just have the cable built in. just buy the whole antenna they are cheap. under $70
