Installing B&G Forward Scan sensor location
Hi all,

I plan to install the B&G Forward Scan Sensor for my boat. The instructions tell to install at the mid hull location, close to the keel.

I have an unused off center thru-hull close to the bow which I plan to use - don’t want to drill another hole. Beside the risk of hitting the sensor when running aground, is there any issue affecting the sensor installation?

Anyone with experience in install and use this sensor? Thanks
