JRC Radar dome Mk 2
After 12 years I have it down for droppings wash. Any point in taking the hood off to see if any obvious cleaning might be apparent. It works just fine so "not broke don't fix it"?

You can push the grease back onto the gear teeth. It all gets pushed out the edges over time.
