Latest OpenCPN work on High Sierra 10.13.6 ?
Do I need to updated my OS?

My mac book is almost 20 yrs old so thinking of getting a new one.... anyone know or have opinions on whether an "airbook" will be powerful enough to run all the programs for navigation, weather, etc... as well as video editing? I'm not going to become a professional movie editor but I want to record and edit gopro/camera vids that I take on my circumnavigation. Any and all info appreciated...

any reason i should NOT updated my OS from high sierra to catalina?
