LED Anchor Light w/o RF interference?

I have an older Aqua Signal 25 series masthead anchor light, with a 44mm festoon mount incandescent 10-watt bulb. I would like to replace the bulb with LED, but I've read that some interfere with VHF performance when in close proximity to a masthead VHF antenna.

1. Are there any quality LED replacement bulbs with little or no RF interference?

2. If not, are there any LED light assemblies that don't interfere with VHF?

3. If not, are there any solutions I can apply to my coax or antenna? Such as a choke?

I'm not interested in discussions about whether the masthead is the best place for an anchor light, or people's great experiences with the Owl, or why this shouldn't matter because it's a simple matter to switch off the anchor light when using the VHF, etc. I'm just looking for the best product to install in the existing location while I'm up the mast this week.

Thank you.

Re: LED Anchor Light w/o RF interference?

Rarely use the VHF with the anchor light on and newer noticed any difference after I installed the LED bulb in my series 25 anchor light.

Huge difference in amp hours being gone in the morning however..

Even if there was some interference I would not care as I could use the secondary VHF with the antenna above the bimini top, or the hand-held..

Thanks for the reply. What LED bulb did you install? My understanding is they're not all created equal.

We have an OGM tricolor/anchor that does not cause VHF interference.

Thanks. Has anyone used them? Can anyone verify the claims of "zero rf emission?" I seem to recall reading somewhere that either these, or perhaps an earlier version of these, did create interference.

Our Aqua signal led tricolor/anchor version is making interference.
