Link 5000 by Datamarine

Hi All,

I just acquired all parts, manuals, service records, and schematics from the past Datamarine owner. If anyone needs anything, send over an email, and I'll give you a hand!

I have some issues with the main unit keypad. Log/miles key is stuck(shorted) so the main unit displays only the log. Pressing other keys does not change the main display. I still have the repeaters though, and they work fine.
I took the front panel apart and cooked it in the oven at 140F for about 10minutes with the oven door slightly open. After putting it back together the rest of the keys actually worked. That is untill I pressed the log key. After that, the display was stuck on log again. . So now I am looking for the front panel for the main unit, or ideas on how to solve the problem of shorted key.

Could you take a picture of the keypad? I think I have one, I just want to make sure of the version. If I don't have the keypad, I do have a whole new unit.

I don't have any fully assembled units, but it looks like I have all of the replacement parts. If you want, you can send it to me to fix, or, I can just send you some parts, if you think you know which ones are faulty. I just need the part #'s off of the boards.

my problem is the touch panel. One of the buttons (log) is shorted. So I need to replace the entire front cover. I don't need the LED display but only the cover and the buttons. There is a ribbon cable (9pin) that is epoxied to the back of the cover.
