Locating and purchasing an NMEA 0183 depth transducer

Hello, electronics ninjas!

I have a very serviceable and comprehensive Ockam sailing instrument network on my boat. The depth capability has gone toes-up. I've been working with Bill Fanizzo at Ockam to troubleshoot, and have reached the conclusion that it's the sender/transducer.

Now I'm on the prowl to find a depth transducer. My first choice is a sender that will fit in the existing housing (1 ⅝” dia x 3 ½” deep). That would let me replace it this summer, while still in the water. A distant second best would be to replace the whole shooting match, sender and housing, but that’d have to wait until this fall when we haul out for the winter.

I’m having a bitch of a time finding a plain old NMEA 0183 depth transducer. Everything now is a smart transducer with NMEA 0183, MNEA 2000, depth, temp, speed, and will pour your beer. Got any suggestions?
