Log is not running

Maybe someone knows what to do. My problem: the log doesn't show anything when driving. I feel like it only "starts" at an angle. I've removed it several times now, the wheel runs perfectly, the display works, I installed it carefully in the direction of travel and then: no display. Does anyone know what to do?

Do you get a reading when you spin the wheel manually? If so, I'd expect that there is some growth or other fouling on the hull just in front of the paddle wheel, either disturbing the water flow completely or perhaps with a bit of weed that flows back and jams the wheel when under way.

Thanks a lot for your answer, Jim Cate. I do get a reading when I spin the wheel manually. So it can’t be the display as it works properly. There is a bit of fouling on the hull, but I used to have some fouling around there anyways. But maybe you are right and the water flow is disturbed by some fouling…I’ll have a look on that and clear it! I hope it’s not a major problem and can be resolved easily by that! :-) Cheers!
