Looking for someone with Icom M801E at hand

Hi,
On my new sailboat i have Icom M801E, and i want to use it on the HAM frequencies for WinLink with pactor modem. I know, reception works, but Transmition is limited to marine frequencies.
I got a this hint, with the radio turned off to hold down the 2, mode, and TX keys at the same time, and turn the radio on...

The Sailboat is on the other part of the world so i cannot check this by myself, would be great if someone could check. Thanks!

In the meantime, i got the answer . The combination of keys mentioned above works perfectly, just incase someone else would need it. You also should not forget to enable external controll in the menus.
