Lowrance elite 7 Hdi....sirius weather?

I have a Lowrance elite 7 HDI combo that I use to fish coastal waters.
It has Navionics coastal charts and such.
I want to put it on my Sailboat and take advantage of the Sirius XM weather service.
It's compatible with NMEA 2000.....
Has anyone use one of those for XM radio weather....can it be done?
I can call Lowrance on Monday ..but just thought someone on the forum would know.
thanks
DH

The HDI will not do weather, I don't think any of the Elite do weather. I know the HDS will work with Sirius Weather.
