Re: Making AIS warnings louder

What brand AIS?
Is there an external alarm port/connection?

I wired in an extra alarm to my engine oil/alt alarm as it was too low to hear when motoring. Lots of loud now, got alarm off amazon.

One similar to this: https://www.amazon.ca/Electronic-Buz...7F9Z3CYQ&psc=1

Thanks. My AIS is Raymarine AIS500. The alarm is given by the linked Raymarine D70 chart plotter. I’ll take a look if there’s an external alarm port when I’m next at the boat, but the digital manuals I have at home do not show this as being a feature.

The buzzer is neat though, and just the thing if I can connect it somehow…….
