MicronetToNMEA : an Open Source project to connect to TackTick/Micronet network

Hi All,

Just a small message to present you MicronetToNMEA : an open source project to connect your PC or tablet to your TackTick devices. It can also handle a cheap GPS and an electronic compass to send the data to your displays.

Note that you have to make some soldering and software compilation to build it. Nothing very complex but having already played with Arduino is probably a minimum requirement.
The project exists for quite some time now but I waited to have a good stability level before advertising on it.

Yes, that's the line of wireless instruments of Raymarine. Micronet is the name of the wireless protocol used to communicate between the devices.


I realize that it would be nice to shows some pictures of the system on the front page.
