navico/simrad wp10 autopilot pinion drive belt (small one)

this is the small one that comes directly from the motor.
Where can i buy a new one?
I think they can be custom made, what are the specs to order?
What is the proper description for the tooth shape?
what other models use the same belt

Re: navico/simrad wp10 autopilot pinion drive belt (small one)

Navic and other marine OEMs do not make their own custom drive belts,or bearings or any of the components of their gear. They source them from industrial suppliers, and so can you!

Take your old one as a sample to a bearing supply house or other such industrial source and they'll be able to find a replacement, and for a lot less money than Navico would want for one.

You don't tell us where you are, so it is difficult to make specific suggestions as to vendors, so let me suggest that you fill out such details in your CP and in your avatar bit under the picture in your posts. It will help all of us be of more help to you in the future.

Re: navico/simrad wp10 autopilot pinion drive belt (small one)

I found the specs on a forum thread, confirmed by measurment, and ordered six from polybelt/polytech in usa(to satisfy minimum order.)(25$,,post was 33$) to canada).
6mm wide rubber/fibreglass timingbelt, 2mm pitch between half rounded teeth, 90 teeth, 180mm long. thanks
