Navicom RT650

I own a Navicom 650 VHF radio. The wireless didn't connect for several months and now it won't connect. I tried to sync it again but it didn't work, it stays in infinite sleep. I tried clearing the sync and it also stays in infinite sleep. There is no way to get the connection. Any help or suggestions? Thanks very much.

I see the instructions on page 27 of this manual:

https://www.mantsbrite.com/CMS/CMS/c...0%20manual.pdf

When you say "infinite sleep" do you mean that the unit is dead? What's the battery situation after all this time? Even if it is lighting up, voltage is the first place I would look when it didn't work.

Re: Navicom RT650

It might be something as simple as removing the battery pack from the wireless microphone. Leave it out for sometime, maybe 10 minutes or so. When you put it back in it might reset and attempt to connect.

Next, it sounds like a configuration issue. Is the remote subscribed to the radio per the instruction found on page 52? If not, then please subscribe the remote to the radio.

If all else fails, find how to do a factory reset of the radio and the remote mic. Then start afresh.

Thanks tkeithlu, in the menu there are two options for synchronizing the wireless: sync itself, does not work and shows "synchronizing" until I press " cancel" and an option to clear a previous sync, with the same previous behavior. I tried to reset the VHF, using the menu option, several times.
I tried to remove the battery in the wireless and wait for sometime ... No way.

Thanks Brian. D
I tried removing battery pack, also reset using menu. Is there a different reset?

Sorry, no. Can't seem to find any method of a hard reset.

Have you tried the manufacture? Not sure if you did or not. If not, send them an email asking about your issue. Wish we could be of more help.
