Normal terminal strips or DIN mounted terminal blocks

I am cleaning up 35 years worth of wiring behind my panel. I am taking this opportunity to make it more serviceable by terminating the boat side wires to terminal strips, then from the terminal strips to the panel. For this should I use normal terminal strips or DIN mounted terminal blocks? The only real advantage I see in the DIN mounted terminal blocks is there is less exposed parts of the connections and more customizable for the number of terminals needed.

What do the experts say?

Thanks
Foster

Make sure your DIN rails are aluminium or SS

Did the very same thing rewiring my friends Irwin 44
Went with fused terminal blocks as seen in the picture.
Tried and true, easy. Built in my air conditioned garage
then transplanted into the boat.
3 blocks were set up with 15 amp breakers and then each circuit was
fused with what I thought the load would be
The 4th block was set up with 20 amp breakers and was used exclusively
for trunk lines to different areas of the boat where they to ended at
fused terminal blocks. Makes adding items extremely easy
Belt and suspenders approach
Cheers
