OpenCPN+mac+BU-354=😡

Hey all-not sure if Im posting this in the right place.

I read the users manual and installed up to date drivers for the gps. Gps is reading on the gps utility.

When I go to OpenCPN and wrench and connections. Add a connection. Select the dev/usb and it never seems to read the gps. Ship location never changes and icon in the status bar stays red.

What am I missing? Is there something else I have to check or uncheck?

In the manual it says open settings(wrench) and go to gps. But I see no gps option. Only "connections"

Any advice and help would be much appreciated. Tia

You might get more OpenCpn experts to help you in the OpenCpn forum on this site. It's under the Navigation group.

Aedan.
