pole mounted radar

I'm trying to figure out how high about the boom the radar should mount.

I contact Kato marine that sell the poles they didn't know, strange!

Anyone know the guide line for pole height above the boom?

Most mfgrs recommended a minimum vertical height of 2ft above your eyes,for eye protection.
As for close metal objects,such as boom,etc.-2 ft min. height difference will usually work to avoid false echos,etc.
