When the refer runs with the charger she starts out at about the high 50's and as the box cools down ends up about 40 amps. This reading is from the Prosine out put itself. I'll try to check with the Prosine off and see what I get but it may be a bit as we're doing a quick overnight shake down to check out other systems. The DC 5000 runs fine BTW with the Prosine off but I haven't checked any power outages for it.

As an aside (and I agree that it would help to eliminate wild goose chases" when I start up the Fein Vacuum in the boat with the other stuff on, the Prosine goes thru a reset system too and I get the same error "Low Bus Voltage". I'll hope to have the heavier powercord to the boat before the weeks end to give it a try.

Appreciate everyones help and suggestions. This forum and others have managed to help us get the boat refit and ready for use.

I have a DC5000 and it draws 40 amps DC continuously except more, briefly at startup for a few seconds. If yours is running in the high 50's...I think something is wrong there.
