Radar and chartplotter compatibility

I bought a new to me boat that has B&g vulcan 9 chartplotter with depth and auto pilot working and a wind vane not working (didnt went up the mast to check yet).

I want to add a radar and I have no know-how on any electronics other then my navionics on tablet that I used on my previous boat.

I just want to know what options I have of radar that will show on this chartplotter. Looking for the cheapest I can find that can make good alarms for solo sailling.

Do my only options are 3g, 4g, halo 20 and 20+ or other models will work too?

You need to find the equivalent of this for your specific Vulcan model.

So its not all 4g radars that wil work and halo 20+ radars that will work?

Mine is a vulcan 9 "version 18.3".
