Ramarine Voyage Planner, Raynav or ?

Hi .. Do you guys have any suggestions on what the best option would be for a PC/MAC Planning software for a Raymarine E7 MFD.

Raymarine sells Voyage Planner and RayTech. I understand Fugawi has a few other options. Any suggestions on what might be the best product to work with the RM E7. I’m looking to do basic route planning including routes and waypoints. I want to be able to export routes and waypoints and import to the E7. I have access to Windows XP, OSX for MAC, iPad and iPhone but would prefer to use MAC if that’s an option.

The RM E7 came without charts pre-installed. I'm using a Navionics Gold XL9 chart on SD. I would prefer not to have to buy additional maps or pay another license fee for the Navionics chart if possible. If an additional card reader is needed, let me know too.

+1 for Fugawi. It has all the features that you mentioned. It works well for planning and navigation and the import/export of waypoints and routes work like a breeze. Besides you can use your Navionics card as it allows to save the charts on the hard drive. Along with the features, the interface is streamlined and very easy to use for the latest Fugawi version 5.
