raymarine Alarm?

Appreciate if someone can help identify what this is, Located on cabin wall under bed, looks like some kind of alarm, i searched the net with no luck,

Most likely the fluxgate compass for an autopilot.

They get put in odd places like that to keep them away from metal and electricity.

Ok Thanks, never would have guessed, only had the boat a short time, only found it while installing our new mattress in a box.

Ours is in the same place. If you put your machete under your pillow when you go to sleep you can send the boat off course

I assume the photo is rotated 90 degrees to the left? I believe that these fluxgates need to be installed vertically (i.e. writing horizontal). But if your autopilot works OK, it’s probably right.
