Raymarine C80

I just got a raymarine c80 GPS/chartplotter and I cant get it to display the depths on the charts. I have been all through the manual. There is an option under the cartography sub menu to "display spot sounding" - that is checked "on". But still no depth displays on the charts. It seems really strange because almost every picture in the manual is shown with the depth sounding. Wonder why mine is messed up. : (

Obviously I am going to call them Monday morning, but I was hoping someone might know now

Thanks for reading.

Re: Raymarine C80

Did it come with any pre-loaded charts, other than the world basemap? If not you need to buy Navionics chart chips for the areas you plan to navigate.

According to the numbers on there - that should be the platinum chart pack for Boston - NYC. Very strange it wont show depth readings.
