Raymarine or B&G radar owners - can you silence a contact inside your guard zone?

This was raised in a thread from 2018.

Basically, the thread claimed one could not acknowledge/silence a contact inside a guard zone, and the alarm would continually repeat ...

"When a target enters the zone the alarm rings, you can confirm it, then 5 seconds later it rings again, you confirm it and the game goes on for an hour until the target leaves the area."

Has this been updated in Raymarine/B&G software?

Reviewing Furuno's documentation, they do allow one to acknowledge/silence an alarm within the guard zone ...

"Silencing the audible alarm Any ships, landmasses, etc. coming into (or going out of) the guard zone will trigger the audible alarm and display the guard zone in reverse video. You can silence the alarm by pressing the [GUARD] key. When this is done, G (ACKN) replaces G (IN) (or G (OUT)). Press the [GUARD] key again to reactivate the alarm. G (IN) (or G (OUT)) replaces G (ACKN)."

On the newer Raymarine MFD's you can do the same, it's about the same process. Long pressing the target gives you an array of options in a menu pop up. If the target leaves the zone and comes back, it will sound again.
