Raymarine RC530 Faulty

I have an RC530 Raymarine and it won't turn in / switch on.. the unit is around 20 years old . Should i just replace it or would this be an easy fix , eg fuse or loose wire etc... any feedback is welcome.

Was it working well and doing the "job" before?
Do you want or need to replace it?
How much will it cost to replace it?


If it's not working now,it is basically worthless-so "checking it out" is not going to harm it further?


Check for power at female pins of power plug.If yes..
Remove the housing,check at power socket,etc.
Push button contacts fail internally.Can you find a way to "bridge" the power button momentarily?
