Raymarine Smart Pilot X30

Is anyone controlling their Raymarine Autopilot with something other than a Raymarine control display?

Thinking of using the B&G Zeus connected to the Smart Pilot course computer.

I doubt it'll work. Control head to AP Computer is proprietary.

Actuators pretty swappable (most are just PM DC motor based). Power units and control/display units not likely. Using a RM 6002 and X-5. Works fine for me. Had an S-3G for a while but didn't really need all that horsepower. My actuator is a 25 year old Benmar chain drive (23 years in my garage 2 years on yacht).
