Hi Jefndeb, I have tested in accordance with the instructions and found that the supply (Red) from the display to the masthead unit read 8V when switched on first time and other readings all within parameters. But, then, a while later I tested again and the supply (Red) had a reading of only 0.56V. Any explanation for this? Is the display uniit at fault?

May I add to the previous thread - for a number of years now I had the needle on the display unit spinning around continuously after a period of operation. As I was only sailing in local waters I did not investigate it until now.
