Redport Halo extender troubles
Hi all,
I am curious about people's experiences using the report halo extender. We bought one about 6 months ago and have been using it when possible.

It only works on 2.4GHz WiFi and then only if the login page is simple. One trick we use is to point a web browser at an unencrypted web page like www.example.com to try to stimulate the delivery of a login page.

Just now I am trying to use it in the Palmas del Mar yacht club marina and it is a right pain. The thing logs into the marina WiFi just fine but http, dns and WiFi just remain in the inactive state.



Anyone got any idea why this might be?
