Sailing Electronic ?

I am seeking opinions on upgrading from older Raymaine Seatalk generation instruments having displays at the helm which provide real time depth and speed and relative wind and speed and I would like hear from folks about the reliabilty and maintainance of Raytheon's newer wireless instruments and or instruments offered by their competitor B&G. Specifically, overall reliability and confidence, battery replacement frequency and any other recommendations from sailors having experience with wireless instruments vs their former hard wired systems.
