Samsung Galaxy Tablet

I end up with a lot of my electronic devices handed down from more technophilic members of my family who buy some device, it, then for some reason don't use it. That's how I ended up with my IPad, and now I have a hand-me-down Samsung Galaxy Android tablet.

Now this is a really good device for a sailor, as it turns out! I am quite surprised.

It is almost pocket sized, yet is basically equal in usability to the IPad, at least, as long as I have the stronger of the two types of reading glasses I use :-)

Fully integrated phone, GPS, cameras front and back. Easy to type on without the over aggressive spelling checker/corrector of he IPad which irritates me so much.

A very cool device, with a whole different level of portability compared to the IPad.

Dockhead, the native Android spill chequer can be a RFPITA. There's actually an option setting to disable it, and if yours isn't a pain in the breeks I would expect someone has already done that. I'm told the one in the iPad can be improved in the same manner.
