Just FYI, if your Lewmar DC66-46P winch solenoid is shot, do NOT try to buy a new one from Lewmar, nor ebay, nor amazon, nor Maritime, nor your chandlery etc.! I just spent four weeks dealing with this idiocy, and then decided to just go out on a limb, visit the local Princess Auto... and FOUND THE EXACT DROP IN REPLACEMENT SOLENOID for less than ONE QUARTER the price!

It was $99CAN, vs over $400US from all of those other places, and amazon TWICE sent the "new improved" version which is NOT a drop-in replacement, and would have required me to cut off eight to ten connectors and resolder new ones. This thing saved me a whole day's work! I hope my painful research helps some other poor sod out there. :-)
