The way to do it is to send the serial gps feed to openplotter and then distribute it to opencpn on my raspberry the same way its being sent to opencpn on my pc, via 10.10.10.1:10109 tcp

I feel like Neo in the Matrix at the end when he sees everything in green with code line everywhere on the wals, lol, not quite but still I have been trying this for 2 days.

Thank you everyone for answering, especially conachair.

YAY!!! And like gary said, try signalk as well- on the laptop in the address put in 10.10.10.1:3000

Re: Sending gps signal over wifi with Opencpn

Today i tried a similar setup than discussed in this tread. The difference is that i used my home wifi network to send the gps signal instead of turning the openplotter into a wifi AP. Both raspberry and laptop were on the wifi but the gps signal did not make it to my pc ( with same setup, connection etc). It did make it on my raspberry opencpn. Any thoughts?
