Simrad 4G radar problem

For no apparent reason, the radar image has started to rotate anti clockwise about 30º with each sweep. This happens in North Up or Heading Up modes, at any range, with the boat moored or moving.Have the latest software, have reset everything, checked all connections looked for anything loose under the radome. I'm now at a loss and would welcome any suggestions. Thanks.

Re: Simrad 4G radar problem

The displayed heading is exactly what it should be, same as the chart plotter, the autopilot and the compasses.

Drive belt slipping? The manual mentions: "After years of use the drive belt may have to be replaced."

Re: Simrad 4G radar problem

Have you set the radar for "heading up" rather than "course or North up" ?

Re: Simrad 4G radar problem

As I wrote in my post "This happens in North Up or Heading Up modes, at any range, with the boat moored or moving."
