ST60+ Tridata: Delete total distance?

Hello everybody
I received an older ST60+ Tridata. Now I want to delete the total distance. There are instructions in the manual on how to set the device to factory settings. I followed this guide. But it still shows thousands of total nautical miles.
The manual for this display says:
Quote:
Log
The Log screen shows the total distance covered by the vessel since the
instrument was fitted.
The reset according to the manual worked because, for example, it no longer shows the depth in meters but in feet. But it doesn't erase the total distance.
Does anyone know a trick to reset them?
Grüsse
Fabian

Answers from Raymarine:

unfortunately the total distance is not a parameter that can be canceled even if a factory reset is performed on the ST60/+ display.

after checking with the UK service, I confirm the above.
Total miles were accumulated in permanent memory and cannot be reset.
In the past, the solution could have been to replace the electronic board but, in addition to the perhaps unjustifiable cost, since it is not a fault, the parts are currently no longer available.
