ST60 Wind Custom Mount

OK - apparently the standard install is flush in with the other instruments near the autopilot and speed/depth.
But I'd actually like to mount it on its own custom pad next to the chartplotter at chest level.
Anyone got ideas for sourcing "bits" to cobble this together?
Pics of other solutions?

Navpod do a range of white plastic pods to mount instruments in, including ST60s, but not cheap though.

NavPod Table of Contents Sail

We have our Raymarine C80 mounted in one under the sprayhood. Our ST60s are surface mounted above the companion way, still clearly readable at that distance though.
