Standard Horizon SL45 Speed & DS45 Depth to Raymarine e7d.

Can I get this data into a raymarine e7d? I'm just about to pull the pin on a new system and while I was told I should upgrade to the i70 and get rid of these two instruments, they work fine and I don't want to spend another $700 and all the labor to install a new instrument and a new speed/temp transducer just to integrate the features if I don't have to. I'm getting a depth transducer to run the fishfinder inside the e7d anyway, but my understanding is that it plugs right into the e7d without the i70.

Is there a way to get the data from the Standard Horizon units into my e7d? Should I care? It will clean up the helm a bit but I think that's about it so not worth the dough I'm thinking.

Depth finders are all about frequency. If the transducer freq matches the display freq; you're good. if not, then fuggedaboudit.
As for speed, don't know...

Do you still have your DS45? Mine just stopped working and I'm looking for a replacement.
