Tack Tick Service for Wind Anemometer/ Vane

I purchased a tacktick wireless cruising set in November 2012 from our local chandlery. I never installed it like many items and spent a few weekends ago getting everything setup. The problem, The wind vane wireless battery only stays charged for maybe 15 seconds then dies. A quick google search informed me the battery is bad and needs to be replaced. The product does have a 5-year warranty and I still have the original receipt. But Raymarine purchased TackTick in 2012 and I do not know if they are servicing these systems. I have heard both yes and no.

I have emailed Raymarine 3 times now with no response. I try calling but always end with an automated system saying that because of "severe weather not available" but the weather looks to be sunny and 60's. What is going on?

At this point I just need to get it fixed. I noticed battery packs online sell for around $60, but I can't figure out how to take apart the system to replace the battery.

Does anyone have a part breakdown for this system or know of reliable peson that can repair. I tried emailing the video automation site I found online that repairs tacktick instruments but have not heard anything back.

As always, any advice is greatly appreciated.
