transducer check

A year ago we bought our Cal29. No instrumentation was connected and the transducer wire was cut. Plenty of length left to attach it to something but how do I check it to make sure it still functions?. According to the wire, it is an Airmar.

Re: transducer check

Depth transducers themselves seldom fail unless physically damaged. So, give it a go and see if it works... not much to loose.
