updating an Raymarine A70D

I was recently given a Raymarine A70D MFD. My plan was to use it to display Navtex messages as I can't apparently access Navtex info and use my AIS at the same time on my C120 due to the difference in baud rates.

I am being told that there are baud rate converters, but that isn't my problem. I intend to use two MFDs for different purposes

This A70D came to me with detailed charts in the machine from the top of Scandinavia to the middle of Africa. When I asked Navionics how to update this massive chart, they told me that I would have to update the CF cards individually. As there is NOT any CF card in the machine, yet it is displaying fully detailed charts, I am wondering if anyone on this forum has any idea how those charts got into the machine.

I am not talking about the detail-less orange outlines of land that most MFDs have in their basic installations. These charts show buoys, depths, harbor and marina info.

I think this chart collection is called RoW (Euro) Rest of World?

Navionics doesn't know what I am talking about.
