Using Garmin Quatrix 7X watch with B&G electronics

Is anyone using A Garmin Quatrix 7x watch with B&G Nav equipment (B&G new 2023). If so what information can you get on the watch (any 2 way controls ?) and how do you go about integrating it with the B&G networking?

The watch is very impressive if used will Garmin devices, however I am not sure of its value with a B&G Nav setup.

Any information received will be greatly appreciated... thanks..>David

You can buy a Garmin device for the n2k network and it will broadcast some PGNs over the ANT network used by Garmin watches.

Re: Using Garmin Quatrix 7X watch with B&G electronics

Hmmm Garmin have discontinued their GNT 10 protocol converter and there does not appear to be many left in stock. It looks like Garmin have decided to be difficult and not provide a NMEA 2000 to ANT protocol converter, or they have something better in the pipe.

Any other solutions out there?

I notice that Brett from the YouTube "Evans Expedition" appears to be sporting a Garmin Quatrix with data coming off his B&G equipped NMEA 2000 network. If you are out there Brett, what did you use and how well does it work?

cheers...David
