FYI playing with a cerbo this week. the inverter only mode does not pass AC. it just ignors the incoming AC and only inverts. so there is still no way to pass though with the charger off.

I do. Wonder if it still works.
Switched to the NUC a while ago. Use my phone or iPads for most everything else.
I’ll update the MultiPlus firmware then play with the settings.

I've only update my multiplus firmware from the ve flash app in the past. The ve connect app is the currently recommended way to update and it can be run from an android device.

I'm thinking about updating my multiplus as that it has been years.

I do not think that the multiplus cuts power until activating/rebooting to the new firmware. But, and this is a big BUT. Don't count on my memory.

Using a notebook or an android phone/tablet might be the best option. I just might try that tomorrow.

PS I assume that you know about ve connect but put the link in this thread for others who are just "starting" along this path.
