Re: Waterproof your phone (and I imagine other things as well)

The Casio Gz one series of phones are waterproof but don't float. I tether my phone to the holster with a piece of light line. Found out early on it it's very hard to see a black phone in the muck. Fortunately, it only went swimming by itself once in shallow water to discover that I needed a tether. If you have the possibility of dropping the Iphone with water proof case in the water, suggest you also tether it. If you don't, you could be out the cost of not only the phone but the case as well.

I'm holding off making a decision on the Iphone till the Iphone 5 comes out. Hopefully the after market developers have had the dimensions of the new phone available to them so they can market a waterproof case as soon as the new phone is available.

Mahalo for your input on the Water Proof case. That was the biggest issue with getting a smart phone as I've been known to take inadvertant plunges even after solving the dropping issue

What is this Motoroala Droid waterproof phone?? Casio makes a water proof smart phone but hear it's not very good and has some other issues.
