Re: Winlink cable to ICom 710 SSB

The Winlink Express software will tell you the assigned and dial frequency. I hope that your 710 is set for Ham operations. If not you will need to program the radio to allow all band operation. That in itself is a task but can also be accomplished with patience. There is an M710 user group on Yahoo that you can join. It has files for programing your 710 for all band operation.

I will remind you again, patience is the word for today.

I have used my M710 on the 6 meter band so I hope if its open to that frequency it will be opened to the others as well.

I didn't know the M710 could work on 50MHz. Whoa.

Re: Winlink cable to ICom 710 SSB

I can download grib files from sail docs through winlink but they are only in text. I am using Faxview as that is the recommended program to use with winlink. Any ideas on what needs to be configured to change the grib file to img.?
