Re: Would you want to waterproof your iPad, Kindle, etc.?

About two months ago I flipped my Hobie in Tampa bay. My phone was in my pocket and best guess is it went about 5 feet under. I righted the boat then looked at the phone, it was still working! Got back to shore and it was acting funny so I opened it up and noticed a few drops of water inside. Left it on the dash of my truck to dry and reassembled the following day. It has been working fine ever since.
The phone is a Galaxy S5 sport, it is supposed to be waterproof to a degree but it obviously isn't. It was resistant enough to be able to save it. Since then I use one of those reusable waterproof bags/cases (the top folds over then is held by a clip.) I can still use the touch screen and it stays dry. Haven't submerged it yet though.
