Re: Can you identify what type of boat this is?

Looks a lot like a "LA krydser". A danish boat built of GRP covered plywood. Designed in 1958 by Bjørn Olsen. You can still find them sailing around danish waters.
The last built #190 can be seen here; la krydser

Yes, I agree with UFFEMIND - it looks like a LA-krydser. I have seen many of them sailing in Danish water.

Re: Can you identify what type of boat this is?

Thanks for the help everyone. I see the similairties with some of the Reinke boats, but they don't seem quite right.

When I said it was local, I meant that it was within reasonable travel time, but I would have to make a trip to go see it. The only reason I'm curious and considering it is because the seller is asking just a little over $1000 for it and the trailer. Apparently it was last on the water in 2015 and has had the engine rebuilt recently, but the add says he can't give any more information than that. Seems like maybe a project that someone abandoned and now the person whose land is on is trying to get rid of it.

The trailer is worth $1000. Check out the condition of the hull and if you are a handy ambitious sort of guy, buy it.

From looking at photos and other info on the net, I think Uffemand was correct and it is a LA krydser. Seems like an interesting boat, now I just gotta figure out where I could put the darn thing if I bought it. Thanks for all your help!

Aye that's always the rub! Right after "now I have to figure out how to pay for it!"
