Too much zink???
Hi all
Thanks for reading

I remember once hearing from an electrician about a phenomenon of flaking bottom paint because of using too much zink anodes.

Does anybody know of any article explaining this?
Or does anybody know of an article explaining how to calculate how much zink you ideally need on your boat?

I don't believe that zinc anodes will make bottom paint peel.

It's my opinion that you can't have too many zincs on your boat.

Yes, over protection can cause local paint issues and more serious issues on wooden vessels.
