2.6 beta no compilation for ubuntu 10.04 ??

Hello,

I use opencpn on a low-power computer (vortex86 Soc CPU) where I have Ubuntu 10.04

I want to test the new beta version unfortunately there are no compilation for Ubuntu version before 10.10.


Could I compile one for version 10.10 ? Is there a reason it not exist?

There should be no problem building for 10.04, AFAIK the only reason it's not done is that Thomas does not have a 10.04 machine anymore...

That's correct, ...but I have virtual 10.04 32 bit stashed away.
No problem compiling. Have a go and test it:

Hey Thomas, that's so nice !!
I win a lot of time with the compilation you made! (because untill now I didnt compile opencpn, but I will do that because I need to have a bigger tool bar to use on 7" touchscreeen)
