Back on topic - Thanks Jonas, good discussion

Parts of this was discussed a looong time ago and I wrote some text and made a sketch. It may be still be of use to show the different terms even if the start of that discussion related to WCV and VMG (described in the discussion).

VMG - Velocity Made Good, VMG to windward, VMG to Wpt
WCV - Waypoint Closure Velocity
TTG - Time to go to waypoint.
TTTG - Route Total time to go (possibly)

Good post about need for VMG
Interesting how the Dashboard got started and is being developed.
