Android (paid) changing s57data failure

I tried to change the s57data (to get the Swedish design of charts) in the same way as in Windows. Caused total failure, and I had to reinstal the app to get it working again. Is there any other way to change the s57data?

I tried it on my A v8.1 and it works fine.
For copying procedures I connected the Android to my Win-PC using an USB data cable.

1) Did you used the latest chartsymbols.xml? See here: https://www.opencpn.org/wiki/dokuwik...vector_palette
2) On my A the path is: .\Android\data\org.opencpn.opencpn\files\s57data
3) I first renamed the existing "chartsymbols.xml" and "rastersymbols-day.png" to have a safe way back.
Then copied the two files from the downloaded zip and started OCPN. Now my O-charts charts have the "Swedish" look.

Thank you! I have an Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro with Android 11. I made the copy with an Xiaomi file handler app. Maybe that's my issue. I did not take the latest files, I took the files from a cloud drive of my own. I will have another try with the metod you described.

The A 11 is kind of special due to Google rules.

On my A 11 I've to admit "File transfer" in Settings->Bluetooth and unit connections->USB (file transfer)->File transfer once the cable is connected to get it to show up in Win file handler.


And the updated chartsymbols.xml from my link above is made for O 5.6.2 so use that!
