This is totally great. I will pm you with my phone and we can talk.

I think this is a great idea. After I get everything loaded I need, I would like to attend something like this....Whats a GRIB?

You can overlay the GRIB weather files in OpenCPN for offshore forecasting.

Does anyone know if UGrib (www.grib.us) is still in business? I can't reach their site. What other viewers are people using?

Re: Anyone in the S.F. Bay?

User Documentation can be helpful. As you can tell I am in Boston.
Getting Started | Official OpenCPN Homepage Look towards the bottom for charts link
Charts | Official OpenCPN Homepage
Chart Downloader Tab | Official OpenCPN Homepage
Chart Sources | Official OpenCPN Homepage

Look around there is lots of useful information.
Perhaps try to find CM93 v2 charts.

Re: Anyone in the S.F. Bay?

Special thanx to Dsanduril for his help today in getting me on my way with charts and overlaying my McMurdo AIS onto OpenCPN. Hope to pay this one forward.
