Bad rumor.
Hello Dave,

A rumor in France that the BSB4 plug-in would be paying and would cost $ 50.

Never having heard of it, which can help me?

This is an evil rumour. Completely unfounded. OpenCPN and the existing PlugIns are all OpenSource, available for free download indefinitely.
